Nominate underprivileged girl students from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds for full scholarship including tuition, lodging and boarding to study for bachelors and Mastrs degree programs
at Rai Foundation Colleges in New Delhi

Rai Foundation, a philanthropic trust, is an innovative center of higher education in India, which is committed to affirmative action for equity, inclusiveness for all sections of society, especially women. Rai Foundation recognizes that girls from underprivileged background, given an equal opportunity, can match their city counterparts. Rai Foundation has 300 girls from India already under this program plus 10 girls from Mauritius. Rai Foundation invites such organisation and their associates to nominate underprivileged girls to study under this program. The participating organisation has only to bear the cost of travel of the girl student to New Delhi and back. The girls can stay in the campus even during the holidays and summer break if they so like.

There is thus a great need to provide quality career programs to under-privileged girl students, in diverse professional fields viz. hospitality, fashion, media, business & management, air-hostess and other services, etc. We provide full scholarships to a specified number of underprivileged girls. In doing so, we ensure that children hailing from even the most deprived and disadvantaged sections are empowered through quality Education with emphasis on leadership skills, innovation and entrepreneurship.

OUR TEACHING APPROACH , INFRASTRUCTURE & FACILITIES:

Rai Foundation is self-sufficient in terms of its infrastructure and facilities. As an innovative centre of learning and teaching, the endeavor of Rai Foundation Colleges is to fill in the ethical and spiritual lacunae that characterize the current set-up of education delivery in India. Toward that end, its pedagogical approach aims at character-building, wherein education is experienced as a preparation for Life. The girl students, coming under this unique program across all disciplines will take a unique course in Life Skills, one that orients students to imbibing key values of Sincerity, Team-work, Integrity, Service, Leadership and Enterprise.

APPLICATIONS/NOMINATIONS INVITED FOR FULL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED GIRLS.

Eligibility for Undergraduate Courses : Pass outs from High School from a recognized board/awarding body

Eligibility for Postgraduate Courses : Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline.

Scholarship Cover : Tuition fee for the entire duration of study as well as boarding & lodging at New Delhi including during winter and summer breaks. To the extent possible, industry internships are arranged during these breaks.

Proposal : We will appreciate your help in identifying and sending us such under privileged girls from poor homes remotest parts who have yet not seen the benefits of growth.

Selection committee headed by Dr. Abid Hussain, Former Ambassador of India to USA. Selection of the girls recommended by you is based on the criteria mentioned in the program.
