Shabnam
Young Shabnam feels a lot of responsibility. And she tells a very poignant tale of her family's struggle after her father's demise. She says, "My mother wonders how people become famous." And after joining College of Media & Communication (CMAC) at Rai Foundation, she confidently says, "Now I'll fly and my mother will see how people become famous when I anchor on TV."

Gauri Vankhede (Nagpur)
Gauri Vankhede, from a poor rehabilitation center in Nagpur, says, "Since I want to see the world, I dreamt of becoming an airhostess. My mother used to say this dream is beyond our capacity." She is now aviation and hospitality student.

Denchan (Leh)
Leh girl Denchan (daughter of a farmer) believes that it's journalists who can bring about changes in the society. She says, "I want to give voice to the problems of downtrodden through a career in mass media."

Rehana (Srinagar)
Srinagar girl Rehana says, "My father (a taxi driver) cannot afford quality education for us and I want to ensure that for my brothers."

All these girls have big dreams - the dreams to make a mark for themselves and to do something for their families. The fire in them requires fuel of quality education. All of them are either orphan or underprivileged - they don't have means to enroll in the professional programs of their choice.

These very vivid dreams have met a very clear vision in Rai Foundation. Rai Foundation believes in giving them quality education with proper grooming till their dreams are actualized. Through 100% scholarships Rai Foundation wants to live and share their dreams to realize success. Gifted / Genius Girls scholarships for underprivileged girls cover their cost of study, fooding, lodging, et al. For going places they will get all possible assistance at Rai Foundation.
